About


I was born in Athens in 1990. In 2008 I started my B.Sc and obtained my Diploma (GPA: 8.78 / 10) in Informatics from the Department of Informatics, of the Ionian University (Corfu) in 2012, working my B.Sc Thesis (experimental study on New Generation Malware Spread), under the supervision of Professor Emmanuel V. Magkos. In 2014 I received my M.Sc in Computer Science (GPA: 9.15 / 10) from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, of the University of Ioannina (Specialization Field: Algorithmic Theory), with my M.Sc. thesis on "Algorithmic Techniques for Malicious Software Detection and Classification based on System-call Dependency Graphs" working under the supervision of Professor Stavros D. Nikolopoulos. In 2019 I obtained my Ph.D. from the same department working on "Algorithmic Techniques for Detection and Classification of Digital Objects" under the supervision of Professor Stavros D. Nikolopoulos. I have served as adjunct lecturer (academic scholar) [full-courses: "Advanced Web Technologies", "e-Commerce" and lab-courses: "Databases I", "Databases II", "Operating Systems" in the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the University of Ioannina (Arta) and currently, under the program "Acquisition of Academic Teaching Experience" I teach the courses "Graph Theory" and "Discrete Mathematics I" in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of the University of Ioannina, continuing as laboratory teaching-assistant in the course "Design and Analysis of Algorithms".
