About


I was born in Athens in 1990. In 2008 I started my B.Sc and obtained my Diploma (GPA: 8.78 / 10) in Informatics from the Department of Informatics, of the Ionian University (Corfu) in 2012, working my B.Sc Thesis (experimental study on New Generation Malware Spread), under the supervision of Professor Emmanuel V. Magkos. In 2014 I received my M.Sc in Computer Science (GPA: 9.15 / 10) in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, of the University of Ioannina (Specialization Field: Algorithmic Theory), obtaining my M.Sc. thesis on "Algorithmic Techniques for Malicious Software Detection and Classification based on System-call Dependency Graphs" working under the supervision of Professor Stavros D. Nikolopoulos. Since 2014 I am Ph.D. candidate in the same department working on "Algorithmic Techniques for Digital Object Recognition and Classification" under the supervision of Professor Stavros D. Nikolopoulos. Currently, I am head of the laboratory in the course Design and Analysis of Algorithms (MYY405) and work as instructor (academic scholar) of the course "Advanced Web Technologies" and as laboratory teaching assistant in the course "Databases I" in the Department of Computer Engineering.
